Hello, my name is Victor, and I'm from Brazil.

I'm more active on English Wikipedia. See my page there for more info.

Here, I correct licenses and authorship information in files which are wrong, for example. Also, I often ask for files to be renamed for consistency and clarity.

I also tag blatant copyvios frequently.

Please note I'm autistic.

This user comes from Brazil.

Coat of arms of Mato Grosso

Waving flag icons

[edit]

I would be pleased if someone did these five flags to add to this set of flags, to add to the ones requested on 31 January. I noticed the Australian, Brazilian, Israeli, Portuguese and British flags are not on the set. I would be pleased if those five flags on this style are made.

My opinion

[edit]

When people request the vectorization of logos at the Graphics Lab Illustration workshop, they're told that when the logo is labelled as a fair use logo, vectorization requests of these kinds of logos would not be accepted by the graphics lab illustration workshop. They tell people that, on this scenario, people should seek vector versions from "official sources and/or the copyright holder". But the owner of the logo could either: Not respond, refuse, charge, or deliver an autotraced version (which is not good). In many cases, the logo is vectorized unofficially, or people would have to go to other places to vectorize the images, and almost certainly have to pay.

Files I requested the deletion of

[edit]

Over the timespan I spent here on this site, I've nominated many files for deletion, and I'll always give a reason.

For example, many logos are clearly above the threshold of originality. When I consider nominating a logo for deletion for example, I always look at each element of the logo to see if it is copyrightable. If none are, then the logo is below the threshold.

The files I requested the deletion of are listed below, from the most recent to the least.

A clarification

[edit]

I've gotten one image I uploaded deleted: An AI-generated image, which I didn't realize came from the UK, a country which unfortunately decided to give 50-year copyrights to AI-generated images. Only Hong Kong also did that regrettable move.

Sadly, someone got the logos of the Copa Mercosul/Mercosur and a former logo of the Dominican Football Federation from 2005 to 2014 (which I uploaded) deleted.
